Cultivating trauma-informed communities
of mindful, thoughtful, and hopeful people
through expressive arts and education.

Proximity, LLC was finally birthed in 2021 and truly is a conglomeration of some of the things I hold most dear and wish to grow in further in my own personal and professional life. The idea for Proximity, LLC began over a decade ago and stems from a plethora of professional experiences, lived experience & healing, and the wisdom & beauty of cultures from around the world I have enjoyed.
I am a firm believer that I must have an approach to life of humility & life long learning. I fail at this quite often & I am trying. In growing in my awareness of self & ability to live in the present moment (mindfulness); in growing in consideration of others & contribution to environments (thoughtfulness); and in growing in my faith/spirituality & desire for things to get better in the world (hopefulness)... I invite you to join me on this journey with what you have.
Through my education, gifts, and passions I hope to empower agencies, businesses, churches, groups, individuals, and survivors to learn to live in proximity well through a lifestyle of trauma-informed care. I especially desire to see faith communities acknowledge mistakes & do better in response and in restoration for those with trauma/loss, struggling through addiction, mental health concerns, & chronic illness.
The vision is to be a small part of helping cultivate trauma-informed communities that are full of mindful, thoughtful, and hopeful people who will create spaces in which all can rest, create, and heal.
